Who can use galpal

galpal is available exclusively to women aged 18 and older in Bangalore, India. By creating an account, you confirm that:

• You identify as a woman
• You are at least 18 years old
• You are located in or visiting Bangalore
• You will use galpal for genuine friendship, not dating, sales, MLM, or recruitment

Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Be respectful in all interactions
• Only upload photos of yourself
• Provide accurate information in your profile
• Not use galpal for commercial purposes, marketing, or solicitation
• Not harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Not impersonate another person
• Not attempt to circumvent our safety or verification measures
• Report users who violate these terms

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create on galpal (profile text, photos, messages, stories). By posting content, you grant galpal a non-exclusive license to display it within the app to other users. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not share illegal, harmful, or misleading content.

Safety & verification

galpal uses a short manual verification call with our team to help maintain a women-only environment. Every new member is verified before they can see anyone else on the platform. Verification may take up to 24 hours. We reserve the right to remove accounts that fail verification or appear fraudulent.

Blocking & reporting

You can block any user at any time. Blocked users cannot see your profile, message you, or appear in your feeds. You can report users for harassment, fake profiles, spam, MLM, or other policy violations. We review reports and may take action including account suspension or removal.

Events

galpal curates and lists events happening in Bangalore. Users can also add events from external sources. galpal is not responsible for the organization, safety, or quality of third-party events. Attend events at your own discretion. We recommend daytime events at public venues.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your data. We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice.

Limitation of liability

galpal is provided “as is.” We do our best to create a safe, useful platform, but we cannot guarantee the behavior of other users, the accuracy of event listings, or uninterrupted service. galpal is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or attendance at events.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as galpal evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of galpal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
